Kurou walked into the training area, he knew that he would need the full power of the sharingan. So he set up an arena that would make it to test the powers of the sharingan’s third level of the sharingan such as moving targets, chakra targets, and jutsu casters. So he activated his sharingan seeing chakra signatures faintly. Kurou first tried the moving targets challenge in which he would have to anticipate and counter act their movements. This would give him only one third of the power of the sharingan, although it would still be a useful skill and is still a good milestone. He set the first setting which was rather slow so it was easy to see and counter. Kurou had made the targets on dummies that were built so they could attack, which is convenient because that is likely to be the only time when kurou would need this skill from the sharingan. So he activated the dummies who all began moving he could already see their movements a tiny bit before they happened from the second level sharingan but it wasn’t very good. So he blocked the first wave fairly easily, he then beat all of the dummies he had set up. He then put on the second setting a fairly faster wave of dummies and targets built to move quickly and strike hard; kurou would need quite a bit more skill for this setting. He could still see ahead a bit but it wasn’t good enough this time because they moved very fast. He blocked punches and kicks from all the attacking dummies but eventually was overcome by the force of all the surrounding attacks and couldn’t take it. He was knocked down to his knees; he struggled to get back to the switch getting beaten down by the dummies. He finally reached the switch and pulled it. He sat there panting thinking, maybe he had programmed those dummies to well. He finally got the courage to pull the switch again. He saw the attacks coming this time blocking them, although it still took longer to fight off all the dummies then the first one. He eventually defeated all of the dummies. Now all that was left was the next stage, the fastest and hardest striking set of dummies. He readied himself and pulled the switch. He could see the moves from the dummies perfectly this time countering and blocking all of them. “I will not be defeated this time.” He said smashing all the dummies to tiny pieces, the final wave was completely destroyed and he gained the skill of seeing movements ahead of when they happen by more than 10 seconds. Next he had to train his chakra detection, this was also another one of his from the second level sharingan, but this one was also from the first level sharingan so it was a little bit stronger than the movement skill. He activated the chakra sensors seeing all of them where they were, he could tell the difference from the three different colors red, green, and blue. Since he had a unique fascination with genjutsu he wished to learn one called demonic illusion: shackling stakes. This jutsu would put the target into a trance making them lose control of their body; it would also put them through intense pain with the feeling of having large stakes driven through their body. This intense pain would cause the target or targets to pass out from the pain. So he took his volunteer who the mizukage gave him. The man stood still and he activated the genjutsu, the man appeared in a red skied world with black clouds with stakes being driven through his body. After a minute of real world time the man collapsed to the ground passed out but still moaning in pain. The last skill which was the possibly most rewarding was the skill called jutsu understanding and copying. This skill would allow him to understand the workings of any jutsu he would see when his sharingan is active. And would allow him to learn it without use of scrolls later on. Of course he would still have to train his power and would need the nature type to make the jutsu work as with any ninja. He had set up jutsu casters that would use only water attacks he had never seen before. He went into the room and activated the mechanisms and the room set up the first casting jutsu. He looked at it with his sharingan and understood it. The user would use their chakra to create a large amount of water in their stomach then shoot it from their mouth continuously making more water and spitting it out through their mouth creating a large wave, the wave would crash down on their enemies thus subduing them and leaving them open for an attack of some sort. The next attack was up and they shot a large burst of water, although it hit his eyes before he could see it therefore he couldn’t understand it. He got up and tried again, the water was shot at him and he got it. The user would gather water from the moisture in the air and compress it shooting it at a high speed knocking their opponent with great force, perhaps even greater force than his shark missile. This would leave the opponent open for further attack and create a lot of damage in the torso area, and could also cause a concussion. Kurou dodged the attack because he did not want to fall victim to those effects from the attack. Then the final attack came up it was a different kind altogether. A water clone came behind him and he responded to its attack by attack it. The clone grabbed his hand and water began forming in a sphere around him he was trapped and couldn’t move at all. Then he understood once it had finished. The jutsu uses a water clone to grab the enemy during an attack, using the water from its own body to create the sphere holding them still. The sphere makes it so they can’t move because the weight of the water is too great. Now he had mastered the whole third level of the sharingan, gaining his final tomoe.
